He was the reformer of the true sense of religion and he made man the centre of all endeavours and efforts, he understood and recognized the ultimate truth in the heart of every individual and maintained that religion is the issue of an individual and let no person be allowed to intervene in the affairs of the others when it comes to the religion and God as it is the individual affair of his and his Creator, the eternal. He Invited Truth seeker come to Daraza to explore more truth and unfold mystery of God which is in you.Shah composed the poetry which is deemed and regarded as the translation of the Quranic verses for the betterment of common folk where as Sami did the same for Hindus by translating vedic injunction in Sindhi, Sachal Saramast exhorts humanism and composed verses to signify the importance of Human wisdom and presented the mystic outlook and said that clearly what Shah said in allegoric form. For his city Daraza is litterally means "Door of Mystery" as its combination of two persian words Dar e Raz where as Dar means door and Raz means mystery.
It is said that he never left Daraza, the village of his birth. Sachal Sarmast married with daughter of His Uncle and Master, but the young woman died two years later. Sachal's father had died, when he was a child, he was later raised by his uncle and His Master (Hadi, Murshid) Abdul Haqq. Sachal Sarmast literally means 'truthful mystic' or can be translated as "Ecstatic Saint of Truth". Sachu which means 'truthful' - while in Sindhi Sarmast means 'ecstatic' in Sindhi and Urdu alike. His real name Abdul Wahab Farouqi and His famous nicks"Sachal" (True Person) or "Sachoo" (Truth Speaker) "Sachey Dino" (Given by Absolute Truth) and in Persian his nickname he used frequently in Persian poetry "Ashkara" (Opened - Clear - Visible). He was born in Daraza, near Ranipur, Sindh.
